Registration Agreement

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, aggressive, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material or you made sure that you can use the copyrighted material under the "fair use" rule.

Please note that as bad actors on the web becomes more prevalent, devious and aggressive, often trying their best to stay within the boundaries of the rules while still spreading their message, any potential violation will be investigated either by an administrator or a moderator to determine the real intent of ambiguous posts. The final decision about any action to be taken -- or lack of action -- will be made by the top administrator.  

IMPORTANT: Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum, whether such material is displayed within posts, within the member's signature or within the member's profile, whether it contains just plain text or hyperlinks. The infringement of this particular rule if and when discovered will result in an AUTOMATIC and IRREVOCABLE ban, posts will be deleted and the IP(s) concerned will be kept on record for further review and actions if deemed applicable.

Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason. We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or against the rules of the forum, as stated above, will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

This forum is a gaming forum and a general rule its content should be considered ESRB Mature (North America) or PEGI 16+ (Europe). We suggest you refer to either the ESRB or PEGI (pick the organization that is relevant to the area you live in) to know what kind of content may be expected under their ranking system. Also by registering, you certify to be at least 16 (Europe) or 17 (North America) to be in compliance with those rules. You agree by registering that this forum, its staff and subsidiaries and the forum's owner won't be held responsible if you register with any false information, including your age and/or birth date.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

Privacy Policy

The privacy policy for the Foxhole Forum is pretty simple.

For a start, All we require from you is a username, a valid email and a password chosen by you on registration. All other information, personal or not, you will put on your profile is optional and entirely up to your choice (in the limit of the forum guidelines and rules, meaning that you may not enter information that is defamatory, false, racial in nature, disrespectful to other people, advertising commercial entities and on).

None of the information you provide will be communicated by us to any third party, commercial or not, except in case of extreme violation of International or US law, or any law applicable to the geographical area of your residence.

Regarding cookies: the only thing to know is that this forum only employs cookies for the purpose of keeping you logged into the system if you so wish. Without this cookie, the system will log you out each time you close your browser and you will have to log in again on your next visit.

Your preferences (like the Forum theme you may choose, date format, time and other options) are saved within our database and do not require any cookie on your computer.

IP tracking: Your IP (either dynamic or personal depending on your ISP) is recorded each time you make a post. It is only visible from administrators and moderators and will only be used in case of infraction to the user agreement you are agreeing to when registering. Notably this IP can be used to ban you in case of major and repeated infractions. In extreme cases, when your behavior requires law enforcement action, it can be submitted to the proper authorities. Outside of these very extreme cases, that should never arise during a normal usage of our forum, your IP(s) is(are) safely tucked within our system and only accessible by the staff.

Keep in mind that personal information you provide when you post a topic or reply to a topic are visible for all to see so do not give away what you don't want to give away.
