A great deal is said about the French resistance during WW2 but not a lot is shown. So here's a documentary about the resistance of the Haute-Savoie region (South Eastern France). There are hundreds of stories to tell across France but I chose this story, because I think, it is the most representative of the resistance spirit. And I'm not talking just about France, I'm talking about all countries where resistance networks were active during WWII.

I also chose this documentary because, although entirely in French, it comes with English subtitles which were made by people and not left to YT translation approximations.

I know this is a rather long documentary but who knows, maybe there is a moral hidden in there. If this is the case however, it's for each of us to find it... not for me to say.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
And the only thing necessary for morons to triumph in our world
Is for the rest of us to naively believe that they are capable of getting better.
